Firm Background

Hi! I’m Jesse Solomon. After 15 years working at other firms in the Lowcountry, I founded my own practice in 2025 with one clear goal: to deliver better results for clients. I believe great design requires care, attention, and accountability—qualities that often get lost in larger firms. That’s why I personally design and manage every project, ensuring thoughtful solutions, clear communication, and meticulous oversight from start to finish.

Why the name LowcountryLA?

The Lowcountry has always been home to me, and ‘LA’ is an abbreviation for Landscape Architect.

Meet the Team

Jesse Solomon, PLA SITES AP

Landscape Architect & Owner

Jesse grew up just outside Savannah, Georgia, where he developed a deep respect for the Lowcountry’s natural systems and rich history. After earning his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia in 2011, he began his career in Charleston as the first full-time employee at Remark Studio, collaborating closely on residential and commercial projects.

He later joined Thomas & Hutton, focusing on large-scale developments and amenities, where he honed project management skills and learned the art of designing for maintainability. To round out his experience, Jesse worked with Wood & Partners on Hilton Head Island, gaining exposure to traditional Southern design and high-end resort developments.

In 2016, Jesse and his wife Katie settled in Bluffton, fully embracing the Lowcountry lifestyle. Outside of work, Jesse enjoys cooking, watching football (Go Dawgs!), and spending time with Katie and their two dogs, Dooley and Finley. His design philosophy values simplicity and balance, drawing inspiration from renowned landscape architects such as Raymond Jungles, Robert Marvin, Michael Van Valkenburgh, Andrea Cochran, and Piet Oudolf.

Finley Solomon

Chief Marketing Officer

Meet Finley, our CMO and Social Ambassador. At just six months old, Finley has already mastered the art of winning hearts (and snacks). Whether greeting clients with a wagging tail or starring in our social media posts, Finley ensures every project gets the pawsitive attention it deserves. When not busy networking, you’ll find her basking in the sun with her favorite stick—because even top executives need their downtime.
